Synopsis and Notice of Intent for a Sole Source Award for Oxygen and Medical Gas Refills plus rental of Medical Gas Cylinders. The Indian Health Serviced, Navajo area, Gallup Service Unit located at 516 East Nizhoni Blvd, Gallup New Mexico 873301 intends to award a non-competitive sole source contract to Gallup Welders & Supply dba Four Corners Welding & Gas for oxygen, medical gas refills, and cylinder rentals on an as needed bases.

The NAICS code is 325120 – Industrial Gas Manufacturer with a small business size of 1,000 employees. The period of performance for this request is for a base year starting on May 11, 2024 through May 10, 2025 as the base year and one (1) option year thereafter in accordance with FAR 17.205. The anticipated award date is May 10, 2024 to Gallup Welders & Supply dba Four Corners Welding & Gas. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals.

There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 10:00 AM MSDT on April 25, 2024, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
