Emergency Medical Services for Children via Telehealth for the Emergency Department at the Northern Navajo Medical Center

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Shiprock Service Unit, Northern Navajo Medical Center intends to make a sole source award to The University of New Mexico Medical Group, Inc. (EMSC) for services stated in the attached Statement of Work to be provided to the Northern Navajo Medical Center stated therein. The Period of Performance will be for twelve (12) continuous months beginning from the Date of Award.

This award will be made in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii) Soliciting from a Single Source. The Contractor, The University of New Mexico Medical Group, Inc. (EMSC) is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services in the form of consultation to the Emergency Medical Services for Children through telehealth to the Northern Navajo Medical Center. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals.

There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 12:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST) on February 29, 2024, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses should be received by the deadline stated above.
