NOTICE OF INTENT BRAINLAB INTRAOPERATIVE NEURO-NAVIGATION CONSULTATION SERVICES

This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Defense Health Agency, Western Markets Contracting Division hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Priced purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to BRAINLAB, INC. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b); Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions under FAR Part 13 apply.

The period of performance is 01 May 2024 to 30 April 2025. BRAINLAB, INC will be tasked to provide intraoperative neuro-navigation consultation services on an as needed basis.

Services required include education and training to surgeons and hospital personnel on BrainLab Curve neuro-navigation and mobile Airo CT equipment, provide on-site guidance and assistance during surgery and diagnostic use of the neuro-navigation equipment as needed, provide guidance to radiology staff regarding scan protocols to perform any required pre-operative MR scans that can merge with intraoperative CT data acquired with Airo, and develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff to allow for in-house training.

The Contractor shall provide service in operating rooms (ORs). Work shall be performed in a medical setting. The applicable PSC is R499. The applicable NAICS Code is 541990 and the size standard is $19.5 (million). This is not a request for quotes. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis.

Responses must be submitted in writing via email no later than 12:01 PM PDT on 30 April 2024. Telephone responses and requests will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
