Action Being Approved: Award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for a turn-key Real Time Location System (RTLS) asset tracking solution to support the 48th Medical Group Hospital at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, along with associated satellite facilities. 4. 5. Requirement & Background Summary: The 48th Medical Group Hospital, RAF Lakenheath, requires an integrated RFID/RTLS solution comprising active tags, passive tags, fixed RFID readers, mobile scanning carts, handheld scanners, enterprise server licensing, turn-key installation, bi-directional APSR (DMLSS / LogiCole) integration, and recurring software and system maintenance.
Conexus Inc. is the sole proprietary developer and provider of the Plexus Vision location platform, which holds the active Authority to Operate (ATO) on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) / DHA Medical Community of Interest (MedCOI), necessary to integrate with existing hospital wireless networks and interface with DMLSS/LogiCole without operational disruption or substantial unrecoverable duplication of cost.
