The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking sources to provide ambulance services in support of 633rd Medical Group (MDG), Langley AFB, VA. Service is required to provide transport, critical and non-critical, both to and from 633 MDG Langley AFB, VA, located at 77 Nealy Ave, Langley AFB, VA. Pick-up/drop-off locations may be military or civilian facilities. The contractor shall be responsible for providing transport within the Hampton Road area.
Services shall include all necessary personnel, vehicles, equipment, and supplies. Services are required on an as needed basis 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, with the response time agreed upon each time a transport is needed based on the patient's condition. The estimated quantity is 835 transports per year, consisting of 30,000 miles. The period of performance:
Base: 13 September 2024 through 12 September 2025. Option 1: 13 September 2025 through 12 September 2026. Option 2: 13 September 2026 through 12 September 2027. This sources sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.
Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data, and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed 10 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response.
A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source contract. Capability statements are due by 10:00 AM EST 12 June 2024. Capability statements shall be submitted by e-mail as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to the following address: jan.t.harding.civ@health.mil.
