Combatant Craft Assault (CCA) Craft Courses of Instruction

Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement to conduct Courses Of Instruction (COIs) that familiarize students with the design, function, repair, calibrating, emergency procedures, and trouble-shooting of the United States Marine, Inc. (USMI), CAGE: 0NNZ7 Combatant Craft Assault (CCA) electrical and propulsion systems onboard NSW CCA craft. The Government intends to utilize the procedures at FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The Government’s intent is to award a five year plus five one-year optional ordering periods Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type of contract issuing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders to USMI. This sole source acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). A Justification & Approval (JA) will be posted with this synopsis.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611519, and the size standard is $21M. This synopsis shall not be construed as a RFQ or an obligation on the part of the Government.
