Oakwood Controls Corporation Target Maintenance & Repair

Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) has a requirement for recurring preventative maintenance, repair parts, new equipment, system familiarization training and other unscheduled maintenance and repair services, as well as the of the Advanced Running Man Target system (ARMS). The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Supart 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Procedures at FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, will be utilized. This acquisition will not utilize any small business set-aside, due to the proprietary nature of the services. Any resulting request for quote (RFQ) will be sole sourced to Oakwood Controls Corporation of Glen Rock, PA (CAGE 5CAN8). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 332994 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees.

The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, accommodating issuance of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Orders. The estimated minimum contract value is the value of the first order issued and the estimated maximum contract value is $2,000,000.00. This synopsis shall not be construed as a formal request for quote not an obligation on the part of the Government to enter into a contractual agreement for any supplies/services.
