KC-135 Maintenance Platforms

The Department of the Air Force intends to have an Industry Day to prepare for the synopsis, soliciting, and awarding the following commodity: The 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group (76 AMXG) requires the purchase of 4 sets of the KC-135 Maintenance Platform System to include a complete design, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation, delivery, equipment installation, work stand assemblies, labor and other incidentals necessary to provide these platforms.

Each set of the KC-135 Maintenance Platform System shall include 1 cargo door stand, 1 set of aileron stands (one LH and one RH), and 2 beavertail area stands with additional railings. The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all parts, components, and services provided for this effort are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW). The NAICS code for this requirement is 332312 (size standard is 500 Employees). A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated.

All vendors are required to be registered in the Federal government’s System for Award Management (SAM) prior to receiving an award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The site visit will take place on 29 July 2024 (Monday) from 1:00 PM–4:00 PM. If you will be attending the site visit, you must notify Cory Rainey-Hedrick at cory.rainey-hedrick@us.af.mil (Cc Marc J Kreienbrink at marc.kreienbrink.1@us.af.mil) by 19 July 2024 (Friday) at 10:00 AM CDT.

The email must contain who will be attending, phone numbers and emails for each individual, and if you will/will not need assistance getting on Tinker Air Force Base. You MUST RSVP to the email by the stated time and date to be allowed on the site visit. You will need to bring a driver’s license to be allowed on the installation. No telephone calls will be accepted as RSVPs for this Industry Day.
