517111 WIRED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES 1,500 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: GRSSC, 2400 FUHS AVE, GALLUP, NM 87301 USA THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.lOl(a)(l) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order under the authority of 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(l), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition will sole source the Telecommunications and Internet Services to Lumen Technologies Government Solutions. The location of the Gallup Regional Supply Service Center is in Gallup, NM, which is considered a rural area. The only wireline/internet service vendor in Gallup, NM, is Lumen Technologies.

Lumen Technologies Government Services is the sole vendor in this area and there are no other local businesses who can provide the Telecommunications / Internet services in the City of Gallup, New Mexico, that can meet the requirements of the Government. The Governments requirements include all internet access services with vendor owned facilities and two required pots lines for the security system available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The Government does not have its own services to provide to the staff who need vital access for up-to-date information. The service and equipment are currently installed and in use. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517111 - Wired Telecommunications Carriers 1,500. Lumen Technologies . THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
