SOURCES SOUGHT: US Air Force Academy Swimsuits

This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for the upcoming competitive acquisition for the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Swimsuits requirement. The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) issues clothing and uniform items to cadets throughout their tenure at USAFA. The swimsuits are part of the Cadet's clothing issue.

The swimsuits must be made in accordance with the attached specifications Atch 1_LGRC Cadet Men's Swimsuit Specifications and Atch 2_LGRC Cadet Women's Swimsuit Specifications. The Buy American Act DFARS 252.225-7001 will apply to this acquisition. The Government will not provide Government Furnished Material (GFM); the contractor will be responsible for procuring all materials to manufacture the swimsuits.

A first article will be required in accordance with FAR 52.209-4 Alt 1. The government intends to solicit a firm-fixed price contract. The required estimated quantities are as follows (exact quantities and sizes will be included with the award): 0001 Swimsuits, Men's 980 each 0002 Swimsuits, Women's 450 each Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840.
