NOI - Sole Source ANSYS Computer Simulation S/W License and Maintenance Support

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award a Sole Source Task Order against a General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule contract for ANSYS Computer Simulation Software License and Maintenance Support. The estimated period of performance is a one (1) year base period. This contract will be under NAICS code 541519 to ANSYS, Inc; 2600 ANSYS Drive; Canonsburg, PA 15317. The task order estimate is $37,000.

A Limited Source Justification will be posted as an amendment to this notice at a later date. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR Authority 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or service required at the level of quality required because of the supplies or service are unique or highly specialized. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple-Award Schedule Program. For this requirement, ANSYS, Inc possesses the necessary capabilities. This service will be provided in Washington, D.C. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
