Notice of Intent To Award ACAST SYSTEM Sole Source

The Government intends to award a sole source contract for; The Altitude Combined Aircrew Systems Tester – High Altitude (ACAST-HA) is an accessory to the JCAST that provides the added functionality of an altitude chamber. The ACAST-HA altitude chamber facilitates Pressure Breathing at Altitude (PBA) testing of the CRU-120/P and CRU-122/P Regulated Connectors (RC) to Chemring Energetics, CAGE 93455 of Downers Grove Il, 60515. Currently, Chemring Energetics is the only company that produces and maintains the Altitude Combined Aircrew Systems Tester. This tester is approved for use by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center for use on the F-22 Mission Designed Series.
