Pneumatic Masts

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 377 Mission Support Group, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source purchase order to The Will-Burt Company (cage code 97246), 401 Collins Blvd, Orrville, OH 44667. The Will-Burt Company will be able to provide four MIL-STD 810 certified Heavy Duty Pneumatic Locking Masts to support RF antennas in an upcoming test environment with a shipping deadline of August 2025. Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB) masts have specific requirements that are necessary for JNWC equipment to function at an operational level.

With that comes responsibility and capability to provide detailed and accurate assessments. This is a commercial off the shelf (COTS) product. The government is one of many entities in the market that purchases Heavy Duty Pneumatic Locking Masts. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 22 July 2025. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A Sole Source Justification Letter will be posted with the Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source IAW Far 6.305(a). The closing date for this notice is 17 July 2025 at 1400 Mountain Daylight Time.
