Notice of Intent to Sole Source to PAI - S2 Launcher

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Physics Applications, Inc. (CAGE Code 2T434), small business under NAICS code 334519, to meet the Government’s requirement for a Two-Stage, Light Gas Gun Launch System (S2 Launcher) IAW Attachment 1 – Statement of Work, as authorized by the statutory authority at 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C 1901. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers.

However, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice electronically by 1:00 PM CST, 21 May 2024. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no favorable responses are received by the date mentioned above, a contract will be negotiated with the above-named source.
