Description

As published on SAM.gov.

This effort is an innovation initiative that is aiming to determine the viability of future uses of the Salesforce SaaS tool as a solution to deliver new applications as well as updating legacy applications. This acquisition is is to provide subject matter expertise in many areas related the the proper uses of the Salesforce tool for application design, creation, testing and support.

Due to the complexity of work already performed in the A3X environment in which this effort will need to be performed, it is necessary to acquire SME support from an authorized distributor of Salesforce. This effort is to establish and maintain a Low-Code/No-Code application development environment to create a prototype of a GBB application as a proof of concept. This will also inform the future uses of this technology to recreate other applications where applicable.

The PMO requires Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to aid the PMO and Airmen developers in the creation, governance, structure/architecture, and development of this effort in the Salesforce Software as a Service (SaaS) environment that is currently owned and operated by Headquarters Air Force Digital operations Directorate (HAF/A3X). The Government requires SME support to advise organic developers working on a prototype (proof of concept) for the LOGFAC legacy system.

This will support the Government's effort to develop an Air Force Airmen Salesforce developer capability. Once the LOGFAC proof of concept has bee completed the Government requires SME support in establishing processes, procedures, and expertise for expanding this capability to other applications where appropriate across PEO BES. If this prototype is successful, the Government will require Secret level SME support to transition the application to a Secured Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) environment.
