Notice of Contract Award of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Level D 747-8i Full Flight Simulator and Initial Logistics Support Package

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WVB), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has awarded a firm-fixed-price contract (FA8641-26-C-B002) to CAE USA Inc., located in Tampa, Florida, in the total amount of $45,319,364.00. The amount initially obligated to this contract action is $43,628,111.00.

This contract provides for the acquisition and delivery of one (1) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Level D Qualified 747-8i Full Flight Simulator (FFS), installation of the simulator at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, and the procurement of an Initial Logistics Support Package (LSP).

The work will be performed in Tampa, Florida; Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada; and Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, with an expected completion date of March 30, 2029. This contract was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by RFO 6.103-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
