Defense Advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver (DAGR)

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) The Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) program office releases the following solicitation to perform repair, sustainment, computer-based training, logistics support and engineering services for the Defense Advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver (DAGR) specification, SS-M/V-600. The Government intends to award a two-year, Requirements type per FAR 16.503 for repair of DAGRs, engineering services, computer-based training, and logistics support.

The sole source contractor is BAE Systems, Inc, 7825 6th St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 (CAGE 8JPF5). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This contract will be a hybrid structure with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Line Items. It will contain a basic period of performance of 12 months with one 12-month ordering period (through 30 July 2026), providing a total of two years of performance.

The place of contract performance will be at the contractor's facility and/or the USG facilities. The majority of the work will be performed at the contractor's facility. Knowledge, generation, and storage of classified information and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) are required for performance of the contract/order. The repair contract will contain a Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254). Please contact the Contract Specialist and/or the PCO with any questions regarding this solicitation.

Amendment 0001 of this Solicitation changed the following:

Amendment 0003 of this Solicitation changed the following:

A) Corrected the Repair and DEMIL CLINs to notate that in accordance with the PWS, IUID is required. B) Replaced Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement, dated 8 May 2023 with an updated version titled: Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement, dated 14 August 2023.

Amendment 0004 of this Solicitation changed the following:

A) Replaced Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement, dated 14 August 2024 with an updated version titled: Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement, dated 30 April 2024. B) Removed CLINs 0009, 0010, 1009, & 1010 C) Renumbered CLINs 0011 & 1011 due to removing the CLINs above. D) Removed Cost elements and clauses/provisions that pertained to Cost type contracts. E) Updated the basic year and ordering period dates. F) Extended the proposal deadline to 17 May 2024 G) Replace Attachment 2- CDRLs from the original RFP with the updated CDRLs.
