This statement provides notice that the government anticipates awarding a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract for Quadrant Target Detection Device (QTDD)/Datalinks Electronics (DLE) effort in support of the Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM) program. The Contractor shall provide the effort required to produce a QTDD Design, DLE Design, Processor Upgrade for Mission Alliance (PUMA) Design, Program Management Support, Production Representative Hardware Units, and travel in support of AMRAAM Missiles.
The proposed contract action is for supplies with embedded services for which the Government intends to negotiate and award a fifty-two (52) month sole source contract to Raytheon Company (CAGE: 15090), 1151 E Hermans Road, Tucson Arizona, 85756. This is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement of proposal, which shall be reviewed by the U.S. Government. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action will be based upon responses to this notice that is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 16.201, foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level.
All potential offerors should contact the Contracting Specialist/Procuring Contracting Officer for additional information, questions, and/or concerns. This solicitation is expected to be released on 1 May 2025 with a response due no later than 90 days after the issuance of the solicitation. The period of performance for this contract will consist of one (1) 12-month basic period, three (3) 12-month option periods, and one (1) four (4) month option period. The place of performance will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation.
