The Government intends to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price requirement for the repair, of ALQ-172 LRU-2 High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS), NSN 6130-00-254-0149EW, Part Number 2612599G002). The AN/ALQ-172 Countermeasures System (CMS) is the primary Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare (EW) system installed on US Air Force(USAF) Global Strike Command (AFGSC) B-52H strategic bombers (AN/ALQ-172(V)2), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) MC-130H Combat Talon 'II' transports and AC-130U (ALQ-172(V)1) gunships.
The primary objective of this effort is the repair of critical assets that will maintain the war readiness of the AN/ALQ- 172 weapon system. This requirement is to establish a 5-year repair contract with a BEQ of 25 each per year. The Part Number 2612599G002 and the NSN 6130-00-254-0149EW for the end item. Under the contemplated contract the contractor will provide repairs that are required to support the B-52 aircraft in sustainment of the AN/ALQ-172 Countermeasures System.
The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Pacific Electronics Corporation, Inc. CAGE code 32324, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
