Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The purchase of the AN/PLM-4 Standardized Electronics Module NSN:

5963-01-508-8776EW, PN:

FT1004-3 and the Battery Charger, 6130-01-509-0564EW, PN: FT1001-1 in support of the AN/ PLM-4 Radar Signal Simulator (RSS). Sole Source - Engineering has determined the items required must be a brand name product, or feature of a product, particular to one manufacturer. Anything else would require extensive redesign at the system level which is cost prohibitive given the system age and projected divestiture.

The Government does not possess internal drawings nor internal engineering data for this device nor are they available for purchase from the manufacturer. On March 14, 2024 L3Harris confirmed there are no other authorized sellers for the required assets. L3Harris Technologies, Inc. owns all internal drawings and engineering data for these assets.
