THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT/ MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. 309 Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) and 309 Missile Maintenance Group (MMXG) have a requirement for a pest control contract.

1. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and services required for pest control. This includes rodent and spider abatement, animal carcass removal, mechanical cleaning methods such as sweeping and vacuuming cobwebs, rodent nests, feces and other rodent and spider related detritus in shelters, test cells, production/storage facilities, tunnels, and administrative areas.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and services required for pest control. This includes animal carcass removal, and mechanical rodent control cleaning methods such as sweeping and vacuuming spider cobwebs in shelters, test cells, production/storage facilities, tunnels, and administrative areas. The areas that the Contractor will service are areas that are not part of the Government Civil Engineering (CE) Office’s Charter to service/maintain.

All work will be accomplished for 309 Missile Maintenance Group (MMXG) and 309 Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG) buildings, shelters and tunnels listed in Appendix D located at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah (UT) and at the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) located approximately 100 miles West of HAFB.

2. This contract action is expected to be a five (5) years and six (6) months including one (1) basic year, four (4) one (1) year options, and one six (6) month option period.

3. INSTRUCTIONS 3.1. The Government requests interested parties provide the following information (please limit your response to no more than 5 pages):

The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code selected for this potential requirement is 561710, which has a size standard in millions of dollars of $17.5.

If you disagree that 561710 is the proper NAICS Code, please submit that comment to the requiring activity along with what NAICS Code you believe this should be classified under; however, please do not wait for an amendment to this request, as the due date for the market survey will remain at April 4th 2024 10:30 am MDT at 11:00 am MST.
