THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT/ MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes.
Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Proposal (RFP), to be issued at a later date, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this acquisition or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFP process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitations posted as a result of this sources sought notice.
Hill Air Force Base, Utah is conducting market research of industry to identify potential firms, with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform services required for a firm fixed-price award in accordance with the capabilities outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) dated 30 July 2024. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The requirements of this project are, but are not limited to, the following:
• Remove existing flight line fence from current location and reinstall fencing in new location/s. • Repair any damage from existing fence line removal. • Repair asphalt between the existing fence line and the concrete leading into H72. • Removal of existing curbing • Paint vehicle parking lines per base guidelines • Contractor will add a vehicle gate on the east side of the fencing that will manually open and close by sliding. The gate shall be large enough to allow a semi-truck to enter without restrictions.
The locking mechanism for the gate will be a common padlock and allow for access to unlock from either side of the gate. • Contactor shall provide two personnel gates. The gates will have an integrated 9-digit keypad with turn handle. The keypad and handle shall be installed so that entry from both sides of the fence is possible. The gate shall be self-closing. • See Attachment 2 within the SOW for fencing and gate locations PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: JBSA Randolph AFB, TX.
