RR-196 Training and Combat Chaff

This requirement supports the impulse cartridge program and is used by F-22 aircraft used for combat and training purposes. The dual chaff, countermeasure, training RR-196(T-1)/AL, and combat RR-196/AL shall consist of a cartridge liner, two metalized glass chaff payloads in soft packs, and associate pistons, spacers and end caps. A BBU-48 dual impulse cartridge shall be used to eject the chaff payloads.
