13MAY2024: RFP has been amended to 1.Add clause 252.225-7016, RESTRICTION ON ACQUISITION OF BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS (JAN 2023); 2. Corrected CLIN structure to allow production lot testing inspection and acceptance for each delivery order IAW AFMC Form 807 BOX 8 Remarks; 3. Extend the solicitation closing date to Monday June 03, 2024 at 1PM MST.

22APR2024: RFP has been amended. The purpose of the amendment is to extend the solicitation closing date from Friday April 26, 2024 to Friday May 10, 2024 at 4PM MST.

16APR2024: We received some concerns from other interested parties and therefore, we would like to provide all interested parties the following clarifications: Concern, the contractor cannot deliver 78EA by 29AUG2025.

The USAF agrees to accept incremental deliveries as follows as the minimum: 1st deliver order 78EA, 18EA by 29AUG2025 and thereafter, delivery of 20EA every quarter for three (3) quarters, starting 30NOV2025 (incremental delivery schedule: 18EA 29AUG2025; 20EA 30NOV2025; 20EA 28FEB2026; 20EA 30MAY2026). Concern, the contractor cannot deliver within 6 months for the additional quantities. The contractor may propose a different delivery schedule that is fair and reasonable and the USAF will consider this.

Concern, the contractor does not agree with the minimum quantity per order of 10EA. The contractor may propose a minimum quantity per order that is economical to both parties and the USAF will consider this. Concern, the contractor is concerned if they can price a 5 year IDIQ by the RFP closing date, next Friday April 26, 2024, and provide the necessary information that the unit prices for each of the years are fair and reasonable.

Please advise if this is your firm’s concern and if the RFP needs to be extended to meet this. The potential offerors understand that an RFP extension will not change the required delivery times for the 1st delivery order and this must be met. Please note that because this buy is a DX rated order that the contractually agreed upon delivery times MUST be met in order to accept the order per 15 CFR 700, DPAS. Compliance is required per the DPAS provision and clause in the RFP. Please note that the Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) was amended to add this clarification.
