Laser cutter salient characteristics: • 1.5 kW fiber laser power source • Shipping dimension must be under 200” x 93” x 91” (L x W x H) • Weight must be under 6K Pounds • Working area should be 4’ x 4’ • 110V or 220V 22 Aug 24 - AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION TO ANSWER RFI QUESTIONS (Due date for quotes extended to 28 Aug 24 0900 MDT):

1. Do you require a self contained dust extraction unit (3kw or 5.5kw) or will the USAF purchase this separately? Self-contained dust extraction please. The 3kw is sufficient for our needs.

2. Do you require a oxygen or nitrogen gas regulator or programmable gas pressure option? Programable gas pressure option. Nitrogen is a better fit for our lab. Being able to use either gas would be nice to have.

3. Do you require on-site installation? Yes 4. With a 4’X4’ work area, is the expectation for this system to be fully enclosed or open? Enclosed 5. What is the time frame this is needed by? ASAP 6. What materials and sizes are intended to be cut? Aluminum, Mild Steel, & Stainless Steel 7. Will you only be cutting or also engraving? Cutting only
