USAFA Mobile Ballistic Shields

Amendment 1 - 23 Sep 2024 revises the Salient Characteristics. The Government requests revised quotes to meet the revised Salient Characteristics. Please see Attachment 2 - 10 SFS Ballistic Shields Salient Characteristics Amendment 1 - 23 Sep 24. All revisions are in blue font. Revised quotes received will supersede existing quotes. FAR 52.212-1(e) allows for multiple offers. Specify if the quote is a revised quote or additional quote.

See Attached FA700024Q0114 Combined Synopsis Solicitation - Mobile Ballistics Shields for specific instructions. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial product prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

All responsible Small Business concerns may submit a quote, which if received timely, may be considered. The 10th Contracting Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) intends to award one firm fixed price contract to a manufacturer or an authorized reseller for six Mobile Ballistic Shields specified in Attachment 2. Quote must be valid through 30 September 2024.

Notice to Vendor(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this RFQ until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this RFQ, either before or after the closing date. The Government bears no legal liability for the costs associated with preparing a quote.
