USAFA Volleyball Suspension System

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number FA700024Q0104 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ.

The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2024-06; Effective 8/29/2024, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Effective 8/15/2024, and Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DAFAC 2024-0612 Effective 6/12/2024. This is a set aside for 100% Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 423910 with a size standard of 100 employees. The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase and delivery of 2 Each Volleyball Suspension System.

Salient Characteristics/Requirement Specifications: At a minimum the vendor is expected to:

Installation of two (2) ceiling-hung volleyball systems (25’ by 28’), complete with net, padding, referee platform, and net antennae. One in the upper gym and One in the lower gym. -Electrical work, power outlets on ceiling for volleyball systems and divider curtains to be provided by USAF electrician. -User manual and training for gym staff on system operation and maintenance. -Upstairs Gym: (1) ceiling retractable volleyball system Downstairs Gym: (1) ceiling retractable volleyball system **Removal, relocation, installation of (2) existing ceiling retractable divider curtains Includes scissor lift and floor protection
