USAFA Event Support Service Industry Day

The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with attending the Industry Day or providing any information associated with this announcement. The applicable NAICS code is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The Government anticipates an 8(a) acquisition. The proposed contract is contemplated as a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods.

The requirement is to provide personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide Event Support to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The requirement supports the Athletic Department (AD) sports events and other special events held on USAFA that require event support such as Protocol and Institutional Events.

Event Support includes, but is not limited to, football games at Falcon Stadium, events at the Cadet Field House, Cadet Gym, Outdoor Sports, Parades, Special Protocol Events and Graduation along with other events held on the grounds at USAFA as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

This service requires supervisory oversight and management of patron access to include patron/bag screening, ticket taking, ushering/crowd control, traffic/coning/signage management, parking management, Ring of Denial (R.O.D., an area of the USAFA football stadium that only vehicles with access are allowed due to Anti-Terrorism measures), oversight and access to the Falcon Stadium Press Box, and Falcon Stadium East Club.

The SP shall perform Event Support within the standards of this PWS, to include performing outdoors at various times and in various types of inclement weather. The current PWS is attached for reference only. This Industry Day is open to industry representatives registered in the Small Business socio-economic status as an 8(a) business with experience in similar sized event support as described in the attached PWS.

Schedule: May 7, 2024 9:00am – 2:00pm and May 8, 2024 9:00am -12:00pm.

Location: 8110 Industry Drive, U.S. Air Force Academy, CO 80840. Agenda: 7 May 2024 will include a requirements overview, allow for group questions, and follow-on with breakout sessions of one-on-one industry discussions. 8 May 2024 will include as needed follow-on questions and breakout sessions of one-on-one industry discussions. Interested vendors must attend the overview session on 7 May to be included in the breakout sessions. A tour of the facilities will not take place during the Industry Day.
