THIS A PRELIMINARY MARKET RESEARCH:

NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: This is a Sources Sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing two enclosed trailers. The product specifications are listed below for better understanding of the needs of Aviano AB and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements.

DETAILS: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 336992 - Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing. This sources sought is issued to find potential sources capable of providing eighteen (18) Aerostar International OTS Dry Undersuit 601GBR005B. These suits are brand name.

ALL of the minimum requirements, including size, listed IAW the attached salient carachteristic document named “31OSS AEROSTAR OTS Dry Under Suits_Salient Carachteristics_v3”. Quantity: 18 Other important details: OTS Under Suits shall include Socks Vest owner's First name and Last name will be applied on the exterior of each vest ordered. Names will be provided upon award. Warranty details shall be included. Shipping cost and method shall be indicated and listed as a separate cost item.

5 Shipping to APO (or through a Consolidation Point) or Physical Overseas address to Italy is required. Required FOB destination to AVIANO Air Base, Italy. Earliest delivery time window shall be indicated. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM report. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements.

The package shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met. Include the following in your statement of capabilities: Company Name; Address; Point of Contact; Telephone number; E-Mail Address; CAGE Code; Web Page URL. Please submit one (1) electronic copy of your response to michele.gant.it@us.af.mil and brandon.skinner.2@us.af.mil no later than 18 Mar, 2024 at 15:30 PM CET.

CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement.
