REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

SYNOPSIS FOR Limited Source: Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Ordering Period Extension THIS IS A RFI ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). THIS SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR ULTIMATELY AWARD A CONTRACT, NOR DOES IT RESTRICT THE GOVERNMENT TO A PARTICULAR ACQUISITION APPROACH OR OTHERWISE REIMBURSE RESPONDENTS FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION OF A RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.

Requirement Description:

1. The MACC is a contract for the execution of a broad range of design-build, sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation and minor construction projects, to include residential and commercial work for the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and Spangdahlem Air Base areas and is currently being resolicited under RFP F561325R0001.

2. This is to inform you that the Government intends to extend the ordering period of the existing MACC. A modification to extend the ordering period for six (6) months will be issued to all six (6) contract holders: a. F.K.

The extension will add an ordering period from 15 January 2025 up to 14 July 2025. The intent of the extension is to cover the gap between the expiration of the current MACC on 15 January 2025 and the anticipated award of the follow-on MACC, FA5613-25-R-0001 estimated for 23 May 25. The original ceiling of $425M will remain unchanged.

The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Do NOT include the following in any response provided:
