Sources Sought Deicing Facilities, Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair, Ramstein Air Base, Germany Synopsis: As part of market research, the 700th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualified contractors that are capable of providing all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to provide preventive maintenance, repair, and inspection services for deicing facilities on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation.
Should a future requirement evolve from this preliminary planning process, the anticipated start date of performance is on or about 18 May 2026. 700 CONS anticipates to award a firm-fixed price purchase order with a contractual period of one (1) basic and four (4) option years as outlined below:
Base Period: 18 May 2026 – 17 May 2027 Option Year 1: 18 May 2027 – 17 May 2028 Option Year 2: 18 May 2028 – 17 May 2029 Option Year 3: 18 May 2029 – 17 May 2030 Option Year 4: 18 May 2030 – 17 May 2031 This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service.
Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids nor proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, IFB or RFP, if issued.
If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Beatrice Meier, beatrice.meier.1.de@us.af.mil, with a courtesy copy (cc) to TSgt John Sinclair, john.sinclair.1@us.af.mil, at no cost or obligation to the Government not later than 6 May 2025 at 14:00 p.m. Central European Summer Time (CEST). In response to this sources sought, please provide responses to the attached market research questionnaire by the time and date specified above.
