Attachment 1 – GRV Salient Characteristics The vehicle must meet the following criteria: - Dirty water tank volume minimum approx. 9.5cbm, liquid drain at rear, Tank with bottom, walls and tailgate is completely made of stainless steel min. 3 mm thick. - Hopper tilting or emptied by remote control. - Rear liquid suction truck is 2.50 meters wide and consists of two suction ducts and can be changed within a few minutes without tools using a quick-change system.
The suction ducts are rubber coated for less friction and wear. The suction carriage is guided on 6 swivel castors with a central middle joint between the suction shafts, which ensures optimal ground adaptation even on uneven or sloping surfaces.
When reversing, the suction carriage is automatically raised to prevent damage. - Rotating beacon on the tank - The hand suction device with 200mm diameter is hydraulically operated and is used to suck the drainage shafts empty. - Vehicle has a high pressure cleaning system of 100 bar and 30 liters per minute.
2000 liters of water are available in a 100% stainless PE tank. - The superstructure engine TDC 7.8 L6 has 340 hp EuroMot 5 shall have a cold start device for reliable starting at temperatures below -20°C / -4°F. - The volume flow of the suction blower shall be at least 32,000 cbm/h - Impeller of the blower shall be made of Hardox steel - Rear area monitoring with heated camera - Working lights mounted in the chassis - Contour marking according to EU directive - Automatic central lubrication system - Color orange RAL2011 The carrier vehicle shall have a EURO 6 diesel engine with min. 238 hp and 7,698 cbm displacement. Other equipment features of the vehicle are:
- Central locking with 4 keys - Comfort driver's seat - Powershift transmission 140-8 / 9,30 - 0,79 - Heated windshield and rear view mirrors - Diesel tank 290 liters - AdBlue tank 60 liters - Air conditioner - Undershield against dust swirl - Full preservation The offer includes a delivery to Spangdahlem and a thorough instruction of the U.S. personnel on the handling of the vehicle.
Furthermore, the manufacturer must guarantee during the warranty period that a mechanic will be on site within 2 hours in the event of a vehicle breakdown. An instruction manual in German and English must be provided. Vehicle is to be delivered with winter tires equipped on all wheels. As required by mission partner and subject matter expert (SME).
