Notice of Intent to Sole Source- Elevator Inverter

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitve quotes. 18 CONS at Kadena Air Base intends to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 13.501(a)(i) in which procurement from a single source is justified on the basis that the company, OTIS (Nippon Otis Elevator Company), is currently the only company that can meet the needs of this requirement at Kadena Air Base, listed below:

0001 Elevator Inverter (P/N: AAA21290CK4) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received by the due date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 0900, 24 Jun 24 (JST), via email to the POC listed in this notice.
