This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and a formal request for quotes for PN: 60211-1000 Fighter Aircraft Transporter. The Fighter Aircraft Transporter will be used for Fighter Aircraft Crash Recovery operations. In most crash incidents, 1 or more landing gears are too damaged to be towed off the crash site. This transporter will be used to lift the downed aircraft without the use of a crane and also act as a substitute landing gear allowing the aircraft to be towed.
The Transporter is a self-contained tool designed to safely and rapidly respond to a variety of recovery incidents involving light aircraft, including advanced fighters.
