Intent to Sole Source Life Raft

This is a notice of intent by the 18th Contracting squadron, to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for sole sourced requirement for AC-9 Life rafts for supplementary charge required for production with only one manufacturer currently. AIR CRUISERS COMPANY, LLC DBA SAFRAN AEROSYSTEMS EVACUATION is currently the only authorized manufacturer to meet required item specifications and compliance restrictions.

Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
