THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY SEEKING RESPONSES IN ORDER TO DETERMINE PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACQUISITION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

The Contractor will provide new, Portable Air Compressor and Jump Starter Unit as specified in Salient Characteristics listed below or comparable alternative, to include direct delivery to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

Salient Characteristics: Portable Air Compressor and Jump Starter Unit requested must match/fit: AIR COMPRESSOR AND JUMP-STARTING UNIT CAPABLE OF JUMP STARTING BOTH 12V AND 24V VEHICLE SYSTEMS. MUST BE GAS-POWERED. MUST BE MOUNTABLE ON THE BACK OF A TRUCK WITH VIBRATION MOUNTS. MUST COME WITH 30FT JUMPER CABLES. AIR COMPRESSOR SHOULD HAVE A 30-GALLON STORAGE TANK TO ENSURE ADEQUATE PERFORMANCE DURING MAINTENANCE TASKS.

Responses to this Sources Sought are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

Furthermore, those who respond to this Sources Sought should not anticipate feedback regarding its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the responding party's expense.
