Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Diego Garcia Vehicle Management (VM), requires two 2-post vehicle lifts (30K capacity) and two 4-post vehicle lifts (60K capacity) in order to effectively conduct scheduled, unscheduled, and corrosion control maintenance on WRM equipment utilized for missions directed by the Department of Defense. Currently, Vehicle Management is utilizing 1 working equipment and struggling to meet mission ready standards. These equipment will replace the old damaged lifts that are un-serviceable.

Over time, these assets wear down and due to usage and the weather on the island, corrosion wears away at the metals. The vehicle lifts will help sustain the mission throughout four sections, and three tenant units missions on Diego Garcia.
