KPSFS Power Plant Automatic Control System

Kaena Point Space Force Station has a critical requirement for highly specialized engineering labor, trouble shooting, and software repair services for the failed Power Plant Automatic Control System (ACS). The scope of this effort requires the contractor to safely assess, test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair the localized, closed loop computer logic controller that operates the installations power plant emergency automatic control system.

The repaired system must successfully achieve automated outage sensing and transition capabilities, transferring critical satellite tracking mission loads to emergency backup generators within approximately 30 seconds of a commercial grid failure. Testing must be non-destructive to ensure the total structural and software integrity of the existing generator switch gears and breakers.
