INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTRACT AT YOKOTA AIR BASE AND GEOGRAPHICALLY SEPARATED UNITS The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform integrated solid waste management services including waste collection, transportation, segregation, disposal, recycling and non- recurring off-base incineration services for Yokota Air Base, Tama Service Annex, Tokorozawa Transmitter Site, Owada Communication Site and Momote Service Annex, Japan in accordance with Level of Service (LOS) standards, Yokota Air Base Recycling Program, applicable Japanese laws, pertinent regulations, and commercial practices. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, and federal regulations, international agreements.
NOTE 1: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
NOTE 2: Offerors shall be a qualified local vendor that is registered to perform the business in the country of Japan. The Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)/NATO CAGE (NCAGE) code appeared in the System of Award Management (SAM) must identify the offerors located in the geographical area of Japan, e.g., CAGE/NCAGE code starting with J (J-type CAGE).
NOTE 3: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
NOTE 4: Site visit will be conducted on 18 Nov 2024 at 0900 hours at Yokota Air Base, Japan. If your company request to participate in the site visit, the offerors shall submit a Attendance Sheet attached to the primary contact no later than 14 Nov 2024, JST.
