The Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Airfield Damage Repair Virtual Sand Table

The 35th Contracting Office at Misawa Air Base, Japan intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) and DAFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 3572, the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). The associated NAICS code for this is 334419. The sole-source contract will be awarded to:

DS2 LLC, (here by the proposed vendor) 310 Government Ave Niceville, Florida 32578-1809, United States CAGE Code: 6TVM6 The proposed vendor is the only known vendor that offers the virtual sand table tailored for academic need.Their product meets the requirement and specification needed, confirmed by AFCEC and the CES Schoolhouse. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 9:00 a.m. Japanese Standard Time, Monday, September 30th, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Governments need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.

A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
