SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: In Flight Biometrics and Cabin Monitoring FA489725SS039 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

The 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) of the 366 Fighter Wing (366 FW) is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of potential business sources qualified and able to compete for a contract to provide a In Flight Monitoring at Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648. Please review the requirement description below. The In-flight monitoring is expected to monitor pilot biometrics and cabin altitude in order to protect and give early warnings to pilots.

The information in this notice is based on the most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements or as needed. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information / sources sought notice. The NAICS code for this requirement is 315990, “Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing” The Small Business Size Standard is 600 Employees.

The government requests interested parties to please respond/email the listed Point(s) of Contact (POC) to this notice with your company information to include SAM UEI and Cage Code, and Small Business size status if any. Please state in your correspondence that you are interested, and after reviewing the requirement information provided in this notice, if you believe you are capable of meeting this requirement and the associated timeline for delivery/performance.

Hampp, yan.hampp@us.af.mil and Mrs. Elizabeth Hughes, elizabeth.hughes.5@us.af.mil. 366 CONS is interested in quantifying and pre-qualifying the likelihood of setting aside competition for this requirement at Mountain Home AFB to a small business. Depending upon the responses to this notice and other market research, 366 CONS may limit the competition to a specific socio-economic small business category at the exclusion of all other potential business concerns.

This announcement serves as the first step for 366 CONS to determine the viability of setting aside this requirement for competition solely within or among certain small businesses in selected categories. This is a Sources Sought Announcement only; no solicitation exists or is available at this time. Requests for a solicitation shall not receive a response.
