The NAICS code for this requirement is 722310 – Food Service Contractors The Small Business Size Standard is $47,000,000.00 Dollars. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified 8(a) small business sources to provide Mess Attendant Services at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. Capabilities of the Mess Attendant Services include but are not limited to the following:

Food Service Operations: Full meal service, carryout, boxed meals, and Grab 'n' Go options.

Customer Eligibility: Serve Essential Station Messing (ESM) recipients, authorized military personnel, officers, civilians under TDY status, and other authorized individuals.

Operational Requirements: Prepare and maintain carryout items, manage reusable container programs, serve food, clean and sanitize dining areas, and ensure customer service.

Mission Essential and Contingency Services: Continue services during crises, military exercises, and emergencies, with a contingency plan in place.

Cashier Services: Operate Point of Sales (POS) systems, reconcile cash drawers, and ensure proper customer identification and meal pricing.

Sanitation and Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all dining facility areas, including floors, walls, lavatories, and kitchen equipment.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive and required maintenance on all equipment, including routine, urgent, and emergency repairs. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached but is subject to change and may not be the final document. Interested 8(a) small businesses should fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Response Sheet to danielle.council.2@us.af.mil no later than 14 November 2024 1:00 PM MST. This announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information / sources sought notice.
