INTRODUCTION: The United States Air Force, 68th Rescue Squadron (68th RQS) is seeking sources that can provide and install 125 Smooth Parachute Packing Mats . CONUS Location 68th RQS complex, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), AZ.

Description: The 68th RQS is seeking the procurement of 125 Parachute Packing Mats. These packing mats will be used to properly and safely store parachutes. Please review the attached salient characteristics document and if your company is interested and capable of providing these items, send an email to the listed POCs below. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION (NAICS)

CODE: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339920 – Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees.

SUBMISSION DETAILS: Request Capability Statements include the following:

Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, e-mail address, NAICS code, GSA schedules held, CAGE Code, SAM Unique Entity Identifier.

Identification of business size and whether currently designated as a Small Business as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.1, and the appropriate categories (small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), service disabled veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, woman-owned small business, HUB zone, minority-owned, etc.) If your company has an interest in providing this product, please submit a Capability Statement for the item described above, please confirm interest by responding no later than 12:00 PM (MST) 1 March 2024. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.

All Government and contractor personnel reviewing sources sought responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
