Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Cannon Air Force Base is seeking to purchase a Military Working Dog Training Obstacle Set. The current training infrastructure comprises six distinct cast-in-place concrete obstacles, each of which must be employed on a daily basis for K9 training, as per DAFI 31-121 specifications. These obstacles include a tunnel, catwalk, staircase, A-frame, window, and hurdle. To ensure the safety and efficacy of the training environment, non-slip surfaces are required for the catwalk, staircase, and A-frame obstacles.

This can be achieved through the use of rubber-type mats or their equivalent. These obstacles serve a dual purpose: facilitating training exercises and maintaining the physical conditioning of the Military Working Dogs. See attached salient characteristics document for required dimensions of the obstacles.
