Amendment 01: THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCLUDE A FLOOR PLAN AND PHOTOS IN THE ATTACHEMENTS This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commercial items issued by the 23rd Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein. The solicitation number for this procurement is FA483025Q0088 and it is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

23 PA bldg 115 needs to remove current carpet and install tile carpet in their building, utilizing the existing USAF Carpet Contract guide. The building is located on Moody AFB, GA. A new tile carpet system will replace the old rolled carpet system, easier to repair/replace when damaged. A hurricanes caused a water leak that has stained and caused a foul smell in the current carpet.

The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, management, supervision, coordination, waste disposal and transportation required to accomplish this requirement TO THE highlighted area is to be replace, missing sq ft of carpet to be replaced STATED IN THE REPLACE AREA DOCUMENT.

All References to “offer” or “offeror” in the clauses and provisions incorporated below are deemed to have the meaning of “quotation” and “quoter” respectively. Any quotation received in response to this RFQ is not binding until the contractor either signs the purchase order issued at time of award or starts of performance.

IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract to the offeror whose offer is judged to represent the best value to the Government based on price, technical acceptability, and past performance records. The Berry Amendment, 10 U.S.C. 4862, domestic-source requirements to certain food, clothing, fabrics, specialty metals, and hand or measuring tools when purchased with DoD appropriated funds apply to this RFQ.

FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: item technical capability, lowest price technically acceptable, and past performance. Disregard "this provision has been tailored to this procurement and is provided via attachment to this Solicitation.", as seen below.

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will bemade under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancelthis solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels thissolicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs
