AMENDMENT 001

The purpose of this amendment is to answer one (1) question received in response to the RFQ and to correct a posting error changing the close date/time to 29 February 2024 12:00PM EST instead of 29 February 2024 12:00 AM EST. Question: We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

Answer: There is currently no contractor performing these services, however a similar training service was conducted recently, awardee and contract number are as follows:

Awardee: WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY HEALTH SCIENCES MEDICAL CENTER BLVD WINSTON SALEM, NC 27157-0001 United States Contract Number: FA483024P0003 All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The solicitation number for this combined synopsis-solicitation is FA483024Q0024 and it is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The above-mentioned number shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation System (DFARS) Change 1/22/2024 and Department of the Air Force Acquisition Circular (DAFAC) 2323-0707.

This acquisition will be Full and Open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 611699 with a size standard of $16.5 million. The purpose of this solicitation is for the procurement of 38th Rescue Squadron Combat Medical Training Services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
