Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Augmenter Targeting System Visual Augmenters

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. In reference to FAR Subpart 13.5, for purchases exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, the procurement of Single Source acquisitions is justified in its authority under the procurement of this acquisition on the basis that the company, Meggitt Defense LLC, is currently the only company that can meet the needs of this requirement. This purchase order is intended to be awarded as a sole source procurement to Meggitt Defense LLC to fulfill the need for items listed below for use on Tyndall, AFB. Visual Targets; (TDK-39A / A37U-36);

P/N: 608280-1; (6 each) Visual Augmenters;

P/N: 219833-7; (18 each) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 3:00 PM CST, 10 June 2024, which shall be considered by the Government.
