Hertz power converter

This notice announces that Pacific power Inc. has been awarded the contract for Hertz power converter. This award was made following a competitive evaluation in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 13.106-2 and FAR 52.212-2, utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR Part 13. The evaluation of offers was conducted using the following factors to determine the best value for the Government:

a. Technical Capability: The ability of the item/service offered to meet the Government's requirements.

b. Price: Evaluation of price, which included the sum of all line items, inclusive of options, if applicable. Pacific power Inc. submitted an acceptable quote of $65,330.00 for 2 360LSXM/M23004 power converters. The quote underwent a technical evaluation and was found to be technically acceptable as it met or exceeded all required specifications set forth in the solicitation.

The Government determined that Pacific power Inc.’s proposal represented the best value based on its compliance with the salient characteristics and competitive pricing. The following salient characteristics were critical for evaluation and award determination: 6.0kVA, Three Phase, Solid State AC Power Source with Limited Feature Set (RS232, GPIB)

208VAC, Three Phase, 47-63Hz Vout: 0-115/200V, 3 Phase, 400Hz as per Modification Note: The USB, LAN/LXI, SD Card, and Video Output functions are removed/disabled. Replacement for Model 360ASX-UPC3/M99074.

Converts the power source into a fully integrated, turn-key AC power system that converts three phase, 208V, 60 Hz power into the MIL-STD-704E nominal value of 3 The evaluation criteria, including technical capability and price, were applied in accordance with FAR 13.106-3 to ensure that the award decision aligns with the Government's interest in obtaining the required supplies and services at a fair and reasonable price.

The determination of best value was made after considering the offer, ensuring that the selected vendor proposal provided the most advantageous terms to the Government. The award to Pacific power Inc. ensures that power converter measures are upheld, thereby supporting secure and efficient base operations.
