PKA - Smartnet Access 6 FSS Notice of Intent

6 FSS is requesting to install a second 24/7 access card reader. The Fitness Center currently has one access point to the facility located at the corner of the facility facing the North parking lot. This second reader would be installed at the entrance to the South side of the main lobby and would allow customers to use the South parking area which is significantly larger than the North side parking lot. The South side parking lot is popular for users who use the running tracks and use the outdoor Pavilion as well.

The current impact for not having a second card reader on the South side of the facility is that customers are forced to walk around the facility depending on what activity they plan on conducting. A second card reader will also reduce the amount of foot traffic at the one reader that we currently offer reducing congestion.
