Intent to Single Source

The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina intends to award a single source acquisition to Delta Scientific Corporation for an actuator, model identifier MPAI-A4300RM34A manufactured by Rockwell Automation (Allen-Brady) and uniquely configured for the HD300EM Wedge Barrier. The HD300EM, to include configuration specification of the actuator component, is proprietary of Delta Scientific Corporation. Delta Scientific Corporation is the sole distributor of actuators with this configuration.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b), as the contracting officer had determined that only one source is reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is 22 August 2024.
